Merge videos

Drop your clips, put them in order and merge. Recordings with identical settings are joined losslessly in seconds; mixed clips are re-encoded to the size of the first one.

How to use it

  1. Drop two or more clips, or use Add files.
  2. Put them in order with Move up and Move down.
  3. Click the Merge files button; it shows how many clips will be joined.
  4. Download the merged video.

Frequently asked questions

When are clips joined without re-encoding?

When they share codec, resolution and encoder settings — typically several recordings from the same phone, camera or screen recorder. Otherwise everything is re-encoded once.

Is there a file size limit?

No fixed limit. The video is read in small slices and the result is streamed to your disk, so even multi-gigabyte files work without filling up memory.

Is my video uploaded to a server?

No. The file is read and written inside your browser tab using WebCodecs — nothing is uploaded, there is no account and no watermark. Once loaded, the page also works offline.
