Speed and Delay
0.25× to 4× speed, or one fixed delay for every frame. Very fast speeds merge frames instead of going below the 20 ms browsers allow, so the GIF really plays faster.
Reverse and Boomerang
Play the animation backwards, or forwards then backwards for a seamless loop.
Trim and Remove Frames
Pick the first and last frame, click single frames in the strip to drop them, and choose to loop forever, once or three times.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Toolula reads, edits and saves the animation inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
Why doesn't my GIF get faster beyond a certain speed?
Browsers slow down GIF frames shorter than 20 ms. Toolula keeps every delay at 20 ms or more and skips frames instead, so high speeds really play faster.
Can I make a GIF play only once?
Yes. Under Loop choose Once (or 3×). Some apps, such as many chat apps, still loop every GIF.
Is it free?
Yes — no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of files.
