About this tool

Excel to PDF — Spreadsheets That Fit the Page

Convert .xlsx and .xls spreadsheets to PDF, scaled to the page width so no column is cut off. Everything runs locally in your browser — no upload, no sign-up, no watermark and no file size limit.

Fit to Page Width

Each sheet is scaled to the page width and split between rows, so wide tables do not spill onto extra pages.

Formatting Preserved

Column widths, merged cells, number formats and cell fills are kept, so invoices and price lists look like they do in Excel.

Figures Stay Private

Payroll, budgets and customer lists are converted in your browser and never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Are my spreadsheets uploaded to a server?

No. Toolula processes the document inside your browser tab with pdf-lib and WebAssembly, so the file never leaves your device.

Are charts converted?

Cell content, formats and fills are converted; embedded Excel charts are not drawn yet. Export a chart as an image first if you need it in the PDF.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every Toolula PDF tool is free with no account, no trial and no daily limit — there is no server cost to pass on because your own device does the work.
