How to use it

  1. Drop the PDF. The tool opens with Images selected as the output.
  2. Click Convert & Download. Each page is drawn at 1.75 times its size, about 126 DPI.
  3. Save the ZIP and unpack it: it holds one PNG per page, in page order.
  4. Use the images in slides, documentation or a web page. For photo-heavy pages, PDF to JPG gives smaller files.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. Toolula processes the document inside your browser tab with pdf-lib and WebAssembly, so the file never leaves your device.

PNG or JPG — which should I choose?

PNG for text, charts and screenshots; JPG for photos where a smaller file matters more than perfect edges.

Are the PNGs transparent?

No. Pages are drawn on a white background, like paper, so they look the same in every app.

Can I export only some pages as PNG?

Every page is exported. Pull the pages you need out first with Split PDF, or keep only the PNGs you want from the ZIP.

Is it really free?
