Batch image processor
Build your routine once — resize, watermark, convert, compress, rename — check it on the first photo, then run it over the whole folder in your browser.
About this tool
One Routine for a Whole Folder of Photos
Put the steps you always do in a list, and every photo gets them in the same order.
Steps in Your Order
Resize, crop to an aspect ratio, rotate or flip, and add a text or logo watermark, top to bottom. Format, compression, Remove EXIF and the file name apply when each file is saved.
See It Before You Run It
The preview runs the real pipeline on the first photo — or any photo you pick — and shows the size, dimensions and file name it will save.
Hundreds of Files, One ZIP
Photos are processed two at a time off the main thread, each with its own progress and error. The ZIP is written as files finish, so large batches don't fill the memory. Save a pipeline as a preset to reuse it.
How to use it
- Drop your photos, or paste one with Ctrl + V.
- Add steps and put them in order; open a step to change its settings.
- Check the preview, then click Run.
- Download the ZIP, or each file on its own.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Every image is decoded, processed and encoded inside your browser tab with Canvas, Web Workers and WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged.
Does the order of the steps matter?
For resize, crop, rotate and watermark, yes: they run from top to bottom, so a watermark added after resizing is sized for the smaller photo. Format, compression, Remove EXIF and rename always apply when the file is saved.
Which names can the rename step make?
Combine text with {name} for the original name, {n} for the file's number (padded, e.g. 007), {date} for today's date and {w}x{h} for the output size. Two files with the same name get -2, -3 added.
Can I make every file smaller than a set size?
Yes. Choose Compress, then Target size, and enter the limit in KB. Quality is lowered first, then the dimensions; PNG files are saved as JPG to reach a size.
Is the original quality kept when I only rename?
Yes. A pipeline with only Rename and Remove EXIF copies each file without re-encoding it; Remove EXIF then strips the metadata losslessly from JPG, PNG and WebP.
Is it free, and is there a watermark?
Yes, it is free to use without an account, and Toolula never adds a watermark. The free plan has fair-use limits; Toolula Pro, an optional plan, raises them.
